“So Abraham called the name of that place, ‘The LORD will provide…’” — Genesis 22:14

SOUNDING

This mountain is no longer just a location. It becomes a testimony. Abraham does not name it after fear, loss, or sacrifice. He names it after who God proved Himself to be. The place of greatest testing becomes the place of clearest revelation. What could have broken him becomes the thing that teaches him who God is.

Abraham does not say, “The Lord provided.” Past tense. He names it, “The Lord will provide.” Future tense. Ongoing reality. He is not just remembering a moment. He is declaring a way of life. He is anchoring his story to a God who can be trusted again and again, not just once. This is not memory. This is formation.

Provision is often already prepared before you ever see it. The ram was there before Abraham arrived. But it only became visible when obedience carried him far enough to see it. God often reveals provision at the point where trust has been fully exercised. Not because He is withholding, but because trust changes what you are able to see. Some things are not visible until faith brings you into position.

BEARING

What God reveals in moments of trust becomes how you name Him for the rest of your life.

PRAYER

O Father, help me remember who You have shown Yourself to be. Teach me to trust You not just for what You have done, but for who You are.

DROP IN

Write down one moment where God clearly provided for you. Name God for who He was in that season and thank Him for it today.
