“But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.” — Genesis 6:8
SOUNDING
Right after Scripture describes a world drowning in darkness, one bright thread cuts through the chaos: But Noah found favor… Favor isn’t luck. It’s not perfection. And it’s definitely not about earning God’s approval. Favor is God pouring grace on someone who’s simply willing to walk with Him.
Noah wasn’t impressive. He was available. While everyone else drifted, he stayed aligned. God doesn’t need crowds to move history. He works through the one person who says, “I’m listening, and I’ll obey you.” You may feel like the only one trying to follow God in your workplace, your home, or your circle of influence. You may feel like you’re paddling against a current nobody else notices, but God totally sees that. He strengthens that. And He honors that. Favor is less about standing out and more about showing up with God.
BEARING
God uses the one who is willing, not the one who is impressive.
