“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” — Genesis 1:27
SOUNDING
When God created humanity, He didn’t just speak us into existence. He formed, shaped, and breathed life into us. It was personal, intentional, and close. You’re not an accident of genetics or a product of your job title, failures, or the labels people give you. Before any of that existed, God marked you with His image. Being made in His image means you carry the ability to love deeply, create and build, influence moments and people, hold a dignity no one can erase, and live with an identity that doesn’t shift with circumstances. This year, plenty of voices will try to define you as “not enough,” “too much,” “behind,” or “overlooked.” But Scripture tells you something stronger: you reflect the God who formed you. Let that settle your feet and strengthen your backbone.
